Accessible Site

This site is accessible, which means that because of the way the HTML has been written, the content can be read and understood by all web browsers as well as screen readers for the visually impaired and people with learning disabilities such as dyslexia.

Additionally an accessible site is more easily read by search engines, and is naturally more optimised for high ranking than a site that is badly coded, or created by web design software.

Accessibility is now an essential part of creating a website, and became UK law in October 2004 as part of the Disabilities Discrimination act.

This site is built to comply with Priority 3 Accessibility guidelines from the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). This means that this site exceeds the accessibility requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and the RNIB.

Making a site accessible does not require any special software, or massive additional work - it just requires that the site is created by people with a good knowledge of the Internet and Internet standards.

This site was built and made accessible by Nameless-UK.
